Requirements and storage guidelines for a seamless experience on AgungOS.

System Requirements

Architecture: x86_64
Firmware: UEFI (CSM/Legacy boot UNSUPPORTED)
Processor: 2GHz quad-core processor or better
Memory (RAM): 8GB minimum
Storage: 50GB minimum on SSD (120GB recommended)
Graphics: GPU with Vulkan 1.3+ support (AMD RX 4xx+ highly recommended).

Game Launchers

Play your entire library across multiple storefronts.

Steam & Proton

Steam is the recommended way to play PC games. It ships with Proton, allowing most Windows games to run smoothly out of the box.

Steam Compatibility Tab

Lutris

Recommended for most non-Steam games. Manage your standalone Windows games easily with community installers.

Lutris Installers

Heroic & Alternatives

Use Heroic Games Launcher for Epic Games, GOG, and Amazon Games. Or try Faugus for a simpler alternative frontend.

Managing & Modding Games

Dive into Proton Prefixes to manage Windows DLLs, config files, and mods. Use Protontricks or Winetricks to install essential dependencies for your games. Steam Workshop works natively, while tools like r2modman are available for advanced modding.

Common Questions

Find configuration answers regarding partition managers, performance optimization, and updates.

An x86-64 CPU, 8GB RAM, and 50GB space. Dedicated gaming components from AMD, Intel, or NVIDIA are recommended for stable high frame rates.
Yes. You can shrink existing partitions inside your partition utility prior to setup, and configure dual boot paths inside AgungOS configuration prompts.
Most titles using Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) or BattlEye work flawlessly out of the box. Competitive multiplayer titles employing Windows kernel drivers (such as Vanguard) remain incompatible.
When using Gamescope, framerate limits can be applied in several ways, but not all methods work for every environment. We recommend using the Gamescope FPS limiter (Quick Access Menu) in Gaming Mode, or MangoHUD in Desktop Mode for the most consistent results.
If your secondary drive is formatted as NTFS, exFAT, or FAT32, it will not work properly with Proton due to lack of symlink support and permission issues. You must backup your data and format the drive as BTRFS or Ext4.
